COVID-19: Community Guidelines Updates and Protections: As people around the world confront this unprecedented health emergency, we want to relay that although our app is meant to entice and promote face to face interaction, we ensure to educate our users in our community guidelines to protect people from harmful content and new types of abuse related to COVID-19. We’re working to remove content that has the potential to contribute to real world harm, including through our policies prohibiting coordination of harm, sale of medical masks and related goods, hate speech, bullying and harassment and misinformation that contributes to the risk of imminent violence or physical harm.

Welcome to Spibe! Our goal is to create a safe, inclusive, and enjoyable environment for all of our users. These Community Guidelines outline the standards of behavior expected from members of our community. By using our app, you agree to abide by these guidelines.

1. Respectful Behavior

  • Be Kind: Treat all users with respect and courtesy. Engage in constructive and positive interactions.
  • No Bullying or Harassment: Do not engage in or encourage bullying, harassment, or discrimination of any kind.
  • No Hate Speech: Any content that promotes hate or violence against individuals or groups based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or any other protected attribute is strictly prohibited.
  • Be Respectful: Be mindful of users and their profiles. No matter the similarities or differences being portrayed, always be respectful towards people’s digital presence. We will ensure our best to remove credible threats or hate speech users who try to degrade or shame other users. Any personal information used to blackmail or harass someone, and unwanted spam of requests and messages is not tolerated. We do allow promotion of stronger conversation around people who match with others in their profession topics or chosen activities in which they’re featured in the news or have a large public audience.
    Never OK to encourage violence or attack anyone, verbally or physically, based on their race, ethnicity, national origin, sex, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, religious affiliation, disabilities, or diseases. When hate speech is being spread to challenge it or to raise awareness, we may allow it, depending on what your intentions state clearly.
  • Share photos that you’ve taken or have the right to share: Remember the users around you that you post authentic content. Try not to post anything you’ve copied or collected from the Internet that you don't have the right to post.
  • Post Photos appropriate for a Diverse Audience: We do know cases in which people might share nude images on their profile to relay artistic or creative in nature, but for a variety of reasons, we don’t allow nudity on Spibe. Anything resulting in posting of sexual intercourse, genitals, and close ups of fully-nude buttocks, is not tolerated in any way, and will be penalized by an account suspension. Any pictures taken that’s photos of context to breastfeeding, birth giving, and after birth moments, is acceptable. Any health related situations or acts of protests are allowed.

2. Safe and Legal Content

  • No Illegal Activities: Do not post content or engage in activities that violate any laws or regulations. Spibe is in no means supporting or praising Terrorism, organized crime, or hate groups. The use of offering sexual services, buying or selling firearms, alcohol, and tobacco products between private individuals, and buying or selling non-medical or pharmaceutical drugs are also not allowed. We remove content that attempts to trade, co-ordinate the trade of, donate, gift, or ask for non-medical drugs, as well as content that either admits to personal use (unless in the recovery context) or coordinates or promotes the use of non-medical drugs. Through use of live animal sales, Spibe does not allow brick-and-mortar stores or private individuals offering live animals on our platform. No one may coordinate poaching or selling of endangered species or their parts.
  • No Violence or Threats: Content that depicts or promotes violence, threats, or dangerous behavior is not allowed. This includes specific threats of physical harm such as theft, vandalism, and other financial harm. We carefully review reports of threats and consider many things when determining whether a threat is credible.
  • No Exploitation: Do not share or solicit sexually explicit content, child exploitation, or non-consensual intimate images. Spibe have a zero tolerance when it comes to sharing sexual content involving minors or threatening to post intimate images of others.

3. Privacy and Security

  • Respect Privacy: Do not share personal information of others without their consent. This includes but is not limited to names, addresses, phone numbers, and private messages.
  • No Impersonation: Do not impersonate others or misrepresent your identity. If someone is using an account that is utilizing your photos as impersonation, ensure to report the account by contacting our customer service email at customerservice.interconnect@outlook.com.
  • Keeping You Safe: As each of us on this platform is part of the Spibe Community, if you see something that violates our community guidelines, please help us by reporting it on our customer service email at customerservice.interconnect@outlook.com. As we will work hard in helping you solve this issue as quickly as possible. Even if it's someone you know that doesn’t have Spibe, you can still file a report. Completing this report you can give information such as usernames, links, and descriptions of the content, so we can find and review it quickly. We may remove entire photos that either the imagery or associated captions violate our guidelines.

4. Intellectual Property

  • Respect Intellectual Property: Only share content that you have the right to share. Do not post content that infringes on copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights of others. If you believe someone is violating your trademark on a future account or account presently used, please contact and file a trademark report, as we will work with our team to help settle this issue.

5. Spam and Misuse

  • No Spamming: Do not post repetitive, irrelevant, or unsolicited content. Avoid posting links to malicious websites or spreading misinformation.
  • No Scams or Fraud: Do not use our platform to deceive others or engage in fraudulent activities.

6. Content Quality

  • Relevant and Valuable Contributions: Ensure your contributions are relevant to the community and provide value to other users.
  • Appropriate Content: Avoid posting content that is excessively graphic, shocking, or otherwise inappropriate for a general audience.

7. Reporting and Enforcement

  • Report Violations: If you see something that violates these guidelines, please report it using our in-app reporting features. Your reports help us keep the community safe.
  • Consequences for Violations: We reserve the right to take appropriate action against users who violate these guidelines, including warnings, content removal, account suspension, or permanent banning.

8. Changes to Guidelines

We may update these guidelines from time to time to reflect changes in our community or legal requirements. We will notify you of significant changes through our app or via email.
